What is DetoxClear?

DetoxClear is the nutritional backbone of a practitioner-guided detoxification program. Rather than a laxative-style "cleanse", it is built to nourish the liver's own detoxification machinery.

How liver detoxification works — and why nutrients matter

The liver clears toxins, hormones and metabolic by-products in two linked stages. Phase I enzymes chemically modify a compound, often producing a reactive intermediate; Phase II enzymes then conjugate (attach) that intermediate to a carrier molecule to make it water-soluble and safe to excrete. Crucially, both phases are nutrient-dependent, and Phase II requires a steady supply of conjugation substrates (such as amino acids and antioxidants). If Phase I runs ahead of Phase II, reactive intermediates accumulate — which is why a well-designed detox formula supports both phases in balance. DetoxClear is built on exactly this principle.

Inside the formula

• TrueBroc® broccoli seed extract. A standardised source of glucoraphanin, the precursor to sulforaphane, which induces the body's Phase II detoxification and antioxidant enzymes.
• Milk thistle (St Mary's thistle, silymarin). The classic hepatoprotective herb, supporting liver-cell antioxidant defence.
• Glutamine and glycine. Amino acids that serve as Phase II conjugation substrates and support glutathione, the liver's master antioxidant.
• Green tea (Sunphenon®), quercetin and pomegranate. Antioxidant polyphenols.
• Spirulina and chlorella for nutritional support, and activated folate, B6 and B12 as methylation cofactors.
