Seasonal allergies come down to one over-eager response: the immune system over-reacts to harmless triggers like pollen, mast cells release histamine, and the familiar itchy, sneezy, congested symptoms follow. Upstream vs downstream — the key distinction

A standard antihistamine blocks the histamine receptor after histamine has already been released. The natural strategy works one step earlier:

  • Quercetin — a flavonoid that helps stabilise mast cells so they release less histamine in the first place. High-absorption forms make a meaningful dose practical.
  • Vitamin C — a natural antihistamine that's also a cofactor for DAO (diamine oxidase), the enzyme that breaks histamine down — helping empty the "histamine bucket."
  • Traditional herbs — perilla and Baical skullcap (rich in luteolin and baicalein) and Albizia, traditionally used for allergic, itchy and hypersensitivity symptoms.
