The Wellness Company Ultimate Spike Detox
A closer look at targeted enzyme and botanical support
The Wellness Company Ultimate Spike Detox combines chickpea-derived nattokinase, bromelain, selenium and four botanical extracts in a vegan-friendly formula. Its rationale brings together protein-degrading enzymes, antioxidant nutrients and plant compounds being explored for their roles in cellular defence.
How are the ingredients proposed to work?
- Nattokinase: A protein-degrading enzyme studied for its effects on fibrin, a protein involved in blood clotting. Its proposed interaction with spike protein is a separate area of research, not proof of a detoxifying effect in people.
- Bromelain: An enzyme mixture investigated for protein breakdown and possible effects on viral attachment. These proposed mechanisms do not establish that taking it clears spike protein from the body.
- Turmeric root extract: Provides curcumin and related plant compounds studied for their effects on oxidative stress and inflammatory signalling.
- Black pepper fruit extract: Contains piperine, included to enhance curcumin absorption.
- Selenium: Supports selenium-dependent antioxidant enzymes involved in protecting cells from oxidative damage.
- Black seed and dandelion root extracts: Included for their proposed antioxidant and cellular-defence roles. Their inclusion should not be interpreted as evidence of clinically proven spike-protein removal.
The evidence in perspective: Ingredient research does not establish that this finished formula removes spike protein, treats long COVID or reverses vaccine effects. Proposed mechanisms are not the same as demonstrated clinical benefits.
