How it works — two timescales of immunity
The formula deliberately works on two clocks. Astragalus (equiv. 3.5g) and Shiitake (equiv. 3.2g) are slow-acting tonics: taken over time, they build underlying immune strength, with shiitake contributing immune-modulating polysaccharides (beta-glucans) that help "train" immune cells. Andrographis (equiv. 1.5g) — sometimes called "Indian echinacea" — is the acute player, traditionally used as supportive therapy for mild upper-respiratory infections. Olive leaf (equiv. 3.5g) supplies the antioxidant oleuropein, while zinc (10mg) and vitamin C (250mg) are the two nutrients most central to normal immune function. Building the wall and manning it, in one formula.
