What is Biome Advanced 10 capsules?
This is the travel- and trial-size of the high-strength Biome Advanced formula — the same therapeutic 30-billion-CFU, six-strain blend, in a smaller pack convenient for a short course (such as alongside a course of antibiotics while away) or for first-time use.
How it works
When the microbiome is disrupted — most often by antibiotics, which deplete beneficial bacteria along with the target organisms — a higher dose of diverse, viable bacteria helps re-seed and rebalance the gut. The six strains span the small and large intestine (lactobacilli and bifidobacteria respectively), led by Bifidobacterium animalis ssp. lactis BS01 (10 billion) and Lactobacillus plantarum 6595 (9 billion), with L. rhamnosus GG and L. acidophilus LA02 (5 billion each) and a HEAL9 / paracasei 8700:2 pairing.
