What is Biome Advanced?

Biome Advanced is a therapeutic-strength, broad-spectrum probiotic. Where Biome Daily is the maintenance formula, Advanced is the same diverse six-strain blend at more than three times the dose — intended for re-establishing gut flora rather than day-to-day upkeep.

How it works — and why dose matters here

When the microbiome is disrupted — most commonly by a course of antibiotics, which deplete beneficial bacteria alongside the target organisms — a higher dose of diverse, viable bacteria helps re-seed and rebalance the gut community. The six strains span the small and large intestine (lactobacilli and bifidobacteria respectively), providing coverage across the regions affected.

Inside the formula — 30 billion live bacteria, six strains

• Bifidobacterium animalis ssp. lactis BS01 — 10 billion CFU and Lactobacillus plantarum 6595 — 9 billion, leading the formula at therapeutic strength.
• Lacticaseibacillus rhamnosus GG — 5 billion and Lactobacillus acidophilus LA02 — 5 billion, two of the best-characterised strains for re-establishing gut populations.
• L. plantarum HEAL9 + L. paracasei 8700:2 — 0.5 billion each, completing the diversity.

How to take it
