What is Daily Balance? — the Scobiotic™ approach

A Scobiotic™ is a syntrophic mixed culture of bacteria, fungi and yeasts grown together — derived from traditional fermentation cultures — in which the organisms support one another's growth and activity, rather than being blended after the fact. Daily Balance combines a 15-strain culture of lactobacilli and bifidobacteria for functional coverage of both the small and large intestine.

How it works

The culture is supported by bifidobacteria-specific prebiotics (including chicory) to promote beneficial flora; Wellmune® (a natural yeast beta-glucan) and Polinacea® (a standardised echinacea extract) for immune support; a complex of medicinal fungi (maitake, cordyceps, reishi, poria, Zhu Ling); spirulina and selenium yeast for nutritional and antioxidant support; and glutamic acid to support digestive secretions. It is built to restore flora, support mucosal integrity and immunity, and maintain flora balance during antibiotic use.
