Product InformationOrthoplex L-Histidine is a vegan-friendly amino acid that has been sourced and manufactured to the highest quality standards. The L-Histidine raw material meets a strict internationally recognised pharmacopeia monograph. L-Histidine is a nutritionally essential amino acid with an estimated daily requirement for histidine of 8 to 12 mg/kg of body weight per day in adults. L-Histidine is obtained from the diet mainly from protein sources such as red meat, chicken and fish and from plants such as soybeans, kidney beans, peas and oats.
