What is IBS Relief? — the Scobiotic™ approach

A Scobiotic™ is a syntrophic mixed culture of bacteria, fungi and yeasts grown together, providing probiotic activity alongside prebiotic and nutritional support directed at the underlying imbalances of disordered small-intestinal function.

How it works

The bacterial culture is combined with six Lesaffre yeasts — including the ibSium® strain studied for the improvement of IBS symptoms — and Gnosis Biootic® Saccharomyces boulardii for its anti-inflammatory effect on the intestinal mucosa. Reishi mushroom supports gastrointestinal immunity; the herbs bitter candytuft (Iberis amara) and yucca provide anti-inflammatory and antioxidant activity; bovine colostrum acts as a prebiotic and antimicrobial; and glutamine supports the gastrointestinal lining.

How to take it
