BIOACTIV HEALTHCARE

Bioactiv Healthcare — trading as Bioactiv Compounding — is a practitioner compounding house, and its range is unlike a typical consumer brand. Rather than multi-ingredient formulas, it supplies single, high-purity actives and systemic enzymes as clean raw materials, so a practitioner can dose each one precisely and combine them to the individual. It is, in effect, a dispensary in brand form: the building blocks rather than the finished prescription.

Systemic (fibrinolytic) enzymes

The enzymes Bioactiv is best known for — serrapeptase, nattokinase and bromelain — are proteolytic enzymes taken away from food, so they're absorbed intact rather than used to digest a meal. In that systemic role they are traditionally used to support a healthy inflammatory response, fibrin metabolism and circulation. Taken with food, the same enzymes assist protein digestion — see Digestion & Gut Health.

Targeted single actives

  • D-Mannose — a simple sugar that the urinary E. coli binds to in preference to the bladder wall, so the bacteria are flushed out rather than adhering; a mechanistic approach to urinary tract support.
  • DIM & beta-sitosterol — used to support healthy oestrogen metabolism and hormonal clearance; see Hormonal Health and Men's Health.
  • Benfotiamine — a fat-soluble derivative of thiamine (B1) that reaches nerve tissue more readily than standard B1, studied in the context of glycation and nerve health.
  • AHCC — a cultured mushroom mycelia extract used for immune support; see Immunity.
  • Shilajit (fulvic/humic acid) — a mineral-rich resin traditionally used for energy and trace-mineral support; see Energy.
  • PHGG & yucca — prebiotic fibres for the microbiome; see Digestion & Gut Health.
  • Creatine, L-leucine & beta-alanine — single performance and muscle actives for precise dosing.

Who it suits

Practitioners and informed patients who want clean, single-ingredient actives — to dose accurately, combine deliberately, and avoid the fillers and fixed ratios of pre-made formulas. Most of the range is best used under practitioner guidance.
