Thymoquinone content varies enormously between products — independent testing has found anything from a trace up to around 2% — and it's fragile, degrading with heat, light and age. That's why two things on this bottle count: it's cold-pressed (kept below the temperatures that destroy thymoquinone) and it carries a declared 2% thymoquinone figure, which is the transparency to look for rather than trusting an unstated "black seed oil." As a rule of thumb, a daily dose of black seed oil at 1–2% thymoquinone is the range studied for most people.
