What is RelieFibre?

RelieFibre (Taiyo Sunfibre®) is a single-ingredient soluble fibre supplement. It is colourless, tasteless and odourless, and stable to heat and cold, so it can be added to water, food or any beverage without affecting taste or texture.

How it works — a prebiotic that's gentle

As a soluble prebiotic fibre, PHGG passes undigested to the large bowel, where it is fermented by beneficial bacteria into short-chain fatty acids — the compounds that nourish the cells of the colon and support a healthy microbiome. It supports bowel regularity by improving stool form, and is notable for being exceptionally well tolerated: it is fermented slowly and is Low FODMAP certified by Monash University, so it avoids the rapid fermentation and gas that coarser or high-FODMAP fibres can cause. This makes it suitable for sensitive individuals and those following a low-FODMAP protocol.
