BioClinic Naturals Opti Active D — Pre-Activated Vitamin D (Calcifediol)

Opti Active D provides vitamin D in its pre-activated calcifediol form, formulated to support bone health and immune function with superior bioavailability. 120-tablet value size.

Per tablet: calcifediol (active vitamin D) 10mcg · one-per-day · practitioner-grade.

What is Opti Active D?

A vitamin D supplement that uses calcifediol — the form of vitamin D that is one step further along the body's activation pathway than standard D3 — for faster, more efficient repletion.

How it works — why calcifediol

Standard supplements supply colecalciferol (D3), which the liver must first hydroxylate to 25-hydroxyvitamin D — calcifediol — before it becomes the usable, circulating form. This formula supplies calcifediol directly. With that first step already complete, it has roughly three times the bioavailability per microgram of D3 and raises vitamin D status faster — allowing effective repletion at a lower dose, and useful where conversion may be impaired.

Who it may suit

Those with limited sun exposure, in winter, indoor workers, people with darker skin, and anyone whose blood test came back low.

How to take it

One tablet daily with a meal containing fat.

Indicated for

Maintenance of bone health, strength and mineralisation; support of calcium absorption; and support of healthy immune function.
